fritz-kola "kola-taxi"

The myth that dealers sprayed the “Coco-Taxi” graffiti on walls and bridge pillars in public space as a kind of business card to advertise their trade is an urban legend that spread through all sorts of media. The fact is: when it comes to Coco-Taxi tags, which emerged from graffiti culture, you can’t miss them in Vienna. Reason enough for us to turn another urban legend into the talk of the streets: fritz-kola!

In a sleepless stunt, a cryptic kola-taxi mural plus phone number appeared on a wall at the Danube Canal. Who was behind it? No clue. Only after making a call or sending a WhatsApp message did it become clear whose business had just been set in motion. Whoever joined the group had the chance to win a truly big delivery of wake-up juice: one of ten year-long supplies of fritz-kola. After a short time, all the street kids were already telling their parents at home: “Mutter, der fritz mit dem kola ist da!” That’s when we let the black cat out of the bag and promoted the good stuff at the dealer of trust. The promotion is history – but the kola-taxi made history in street culture.
